Privacy Policy

Summary

SnappyDisk sets no cookies, runs no cross-site tracking, and asks you for nothing. We collect anonymous, aggregate traffic statistics and nothing else. There is no account to create and no newsletter to join.

What we collect

Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors or build profiles across sites. It reports totals: how many people viewed a page, roughly where in the world they were, what referred them, and which browser they used. None of it identifies you and none of it is linked to an individual.

Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests to the site and retains standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. This is a normal part of serving a website and is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

What we don’t collect

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use tracking pixels. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not hold any. We have no login system, no comment system, and no forms.

Email

If you contact us by email, we hold that email in order to reply to it. We don’t add you to any list and we don’t pass it on.

Articles link to manufacturer documentation, datasets and third-party reviews. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a site holds about you. The EEA, the UK, California and several other US states all have such laws. We hold no personal data beyond emails you have sent us directly. If you want any such email deleted, ask and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If SnappyDisk adds advertising, an email newsletter, or anything else that changes what is collected, this page will be updated before that goes live, and where consent is required we will ask for it. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
