Corrections
Corrections get priority. If a page contradicts a datasheet, cites a source that doesn’t say what we claim it says, or has simply gone stale because a manufacturer revised a product, send it over. A link to the page and a note about what’s wrong is enough. We fix pages in place and note the update date rather than quietly removing them.
What we can’t help with
- Data recovery. If a drive has failed and the data matters, stop using it and talk to a recovery service. Nothing we could tell you by email is worth the risk of making it worse.
- Individual buying advice. We can’t recommend a specific drive for your specific situation. The drives section is where we try to give you enough to decide for yourself.
